I phoned the call centre and spoke to the consultant named Kyle.he asked some security questions which i answered to the best of my memory as Nedbank internet banking, being my query, was not something i use often. I called in as it was suppose to save me time to go the bank. So there was a question on beneficiaries which i could recall who was who but the consultant did not comprehend or understand my situation.i can confirm all other details but beneficiaries i couldnt because i havent used them in a while.i could confirm personal details, account numbers, payments as well as the history of the account, but even after speaking to his supervisor, the consultant could not help me. This is irritating as time is an issue for me today and all i required was just to view my balance on the account. I seriously hate Nedbank and this is not the first time i have an issue with the service.i have cancelled my cheque account with them and this account will follow suit.
other banks will look at other information to confirm rather than to decline to help a client. Nedbanks service is pathetic and processes are out of date. Please catch a wake up. Ref no: 6560482
