I applied for vehicle finance through Absa, this was approved and a contract drawn up and signed in September 2013. Due to human error there was a mistake was on the invoice from the dealership, so a new contract and account number had to be done and signed before my first instalment went off. The date in the first contact stipulated that my first instalment will come of on Nov 01, since the contract was redone the date moved from Nov 01 to Dec 01. But, off course ABSA "forgot" to closed the first account and the first instalment went into the wrong account on Nov 01. I had to contact Absa, only for them to say it wasn't there fault!!! WAS IT MY FAULT THEN!!! I HAD TO KEEP PHONING TO GET FEEDBACK AND THIS MORNING 10 DAYS LATER, I CONTACT THEM FOR THEM TO SAY MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED BUT THEY DON'T KNOW WHY I WASN'T REFUNDED!!! I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS OTHER PROBLEMS WITH ABSA AND THEIR INCOMPETENCE... THIS WAS THE FINAL STRAW... I AM DONE WITH THIS USEFUL BANKING SYSTEM, INCOMPETENT STAFF, LONG LINES, BAD ATTITUDE AND PURE LAZINESS!!!
