We have been members of Essential Med for a couple of years now. When they were associated with Care Cross, we had NO problems. Since Essential Med have switched over to 1doctor, we have had endless hassles. Our doctors are complaining that they are not getting paid, and we are getting calls to settle accounts. The meds that are being given to us (from a Network doctor) are not being paid for. We have now had to pay for our last 3 scripts. We keep getting told different stories, but apparently the latest is that we are only allowed 3 scripts per year. On the internet however, and in the past, it is clearly stated that medication (from a network provider) is UNLIMITED!!! Firstly, has the policy changed, and secondly why have we not been informed.
When trying to phone Essential Med we keep getting blown off, and told that someone will get back to us and apparently it is being sorted out. WHEN will it get sorted out. I am strongly considering cancelling our policy as we are now paying for a service that we are NOT being provided with. I would not recommend Essential Med to anyone.
