I recently had a burst geyser, which actually turned out to be a burst geyser valve. discovery appointed contractors came out to replace this geyser. the contractors completed the work left without leaving any contact details. the geyser valve burst yet again damaging my ceilings and light fittings. I contacted the discovery consultant Maria Fourie to complain about this poor workmanship. she said she would rectify the situation. she had the contractors come out and fix the geyser and other contractors to quote for the repairs to my ceiling. she then advised me that my policy has a R5000.00 excess which was implemented sometime during this year without my knowledge yet I was paying the same premium which made no sense. I disputed this with her but she wasn't helpful at all. I then got in touch with Serushin Naidoo who had assisted me with a previous claim. I explained the situation to him and needless to say, within a day or so my issue had been resolved. Serushin is very clued up and is always very helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with. he is definitely an asset to his team and his company. discovery should definitely invest in hiring more people of this calibre
