The conclusion of a sad banking tale

I wrote one previous report in the hope that someone from Absa would get hold of me. Someone did.
Sadly what happened next has led me to a new bank, much to my chagrin given was goes along with all of that.
After speaking with loads of Absa employees who 'knew nothing' trying to track down some money of mine that was deducted, it took me two months to finally get it reimbursed to my account, despite the fact that Absa had been holding the money all along. I was sent from pillar to post, told it was some other companies fault, I stood in bank lines for ages, all with no result. My Hello Peter report was the only thing that achieved anything, and the fact that it was resolved in a very short time, meant it could have been resolved much sooner.
Anyway, all that being done I was prepared to forgive this ordeal until I received no apology or explanation about where my money had been for those two months. It was as if they didn't actually care if I went somewhere else... or perhaps thought I wouldn't.
As it turns out, I have now taken all 4 of my accounts to FNB plus those of my partner. Who it seems are cheaper anyway.
