Appalled at the service at mall@reds branch

I visited Standard bank at the mall@reds branch in centurion on Monday 28 January 2013 and was appalled at the service Standard bank clients receive at this branch. Standard bank spent millions a couple of years ago and moved to a bigger premises at the mall - they installed 6 tellers to service customers but 2 are cubicles (bulk tellers) and have never been operational since opening, From the 4 left over only 2 or 3 will be operational even at month end. On Monday there were 2 elderly clients waiting in the long queue, the gent in front of me told me he was a pensioner and had to come and collect his pension at the branch. The lady behind me also a pensioner could not believe that the bank treats their elderly clients this way. There are no dedicated tellers to assist them especially when the banks are busy and no seating. Other banks can why is this a problem at standard bank. After I was done at the tellers, I spoke to the branch manager and according to her Head Office is investigating the matter and she cannot do anything further. So the problem lays at Head Office Management. Obviously management does not give a as this problem could have been rectified with the revamp.
