I have an existing home loan with FNB and called them in August to inquire about drawing more funds from it and maybe re negotiating the term. I was told that a sales agent would be appointed to call me back within 48hrs. I also sent an email to the home loan division at the same time. After not hearing back I called again and was told once again a sales agent would be appointed and call me back within 48hrs. In the meantime ABSA responded and granted me a new bond and I have opened a bond for 1, 2 million with them (FNB lost out!)
As I am a loyal FNB customer I thought I would notify them of their incompetence, so I found an email online for complaints and sent a report to them. I received a mail saying someone would contact me within 24hrs. STILL NOTHING!
Then in October I sent an email via my online banking to my personal banker (this is supposed to be a privilege for valued customers) I got a response back saying I would hear from someone in 24 hrs... STILL NOTHING!
As you can see FNB doesn't respond to my various communications via email AND phone since August. I am seriously disillusioned with their service
