ATM dispensing old R200 notes

Yesterday my wife drew money from an ABSA ATM at Shop a Bag Shopping Centre on Ouklip Road in Wilropark. The machine dispenced old R200 notes which we know has been withdrawn from circulation. I tried paying for goods with the old R200 note and was told that they do not accept it anymore. So how come these old R200 notes are dispensed by the ABSA Bank, surely they should be assisting in withdrawing these from circulation yest this is causing headache in my life.
