I sent in a request to cancel my policy 7 days ago and I was informed when I originally enquired it would take 5 working days.

Today it was 5 days and I hadn't received so much as a whisper or auto-reply to my notice, so I decided to enquire about the status of my cancellation myself. Then I get a notice saying they have received my request only today? What about the original request I sent 7 days ago? Did you somehow manage to misplace that request?

I cannot wait a further 5 days for you to process this, I was told 5 days from when I sent the documents and 5 days is today so I expect it to be completed today or latest tomorrow. But no later. It's not my problem someone missed it or someone forgot to file it, its your problem. Liberty dropped the ball here not me.
