Account settled, debit order still going through

My personal loan account was handed to Ver-tex solutions last year and I made an arrangement with them to pay R1000.00 every month. The first debit order was on the 20/08/2012 and the account was paid up on the 19/02/2013 with a debit of R489.81. I did confirm it with consultant from Ver-tex solutions and the debit order stopped going through because the account was paid up.

Seven months later on the 23/09/2013 Standard bank transferred R1276.64 out of my account and when i made enquiries regarding it, I was told that it was for personal loan that i owe to them.

I don't understand how can a huge organisation can transfer money out of my account whereas I paid up the money i owed to them. Ver-tex Solutions has since logged a query with Standard Bank on the
25/09/2013 and no one has responded back to them.
