So FNB Cant Help you
My Cheque Card (Chip & PIN) was along with my purse on 30 August 2013. R3000, in total was withdrawn from my account without my knowledge nor consent. I cancelled my card, i have a police affidavit, I sat in the Northcliff Branch for over a hour filling and Signing forms. I called the department, and I called the Complaints Department. Only for you to tell me that the case has hit a deadlock status and that i will be held liable for the R3000. loss because i must have given out my PIN-REALLY?
1stly-I have spoken to many of my clients, & yours, who tell me either it has happened to them or they know of someone it has happened to recently.
2ndly- there was an article on 702 (radio Station) about a week ago, whereby people were complaining about the on these chip and PIN cards.
3rdly- How can we, as the public, be assured that these are not inside jobs. The had my entire purse- meaning my drivers licence and physical address. How easy would it be to acquire a PIN.
I need this sorted out as soon as possible, the service i have receive has been less than satisfactory.
DONT TAKE ME FOR A FOOL BECAUSE OF MY AGE!!!
