I CANT OPEN AN ACCOUNT

I am from Germany and got engaged to my partner of 4 years last year July after many months of waiting I finally got my life partner Visa with permission to work, I am starting my new job at Wits Health Consortium as a HIV researcher I obviously need a bank account for them to put my salary in, I went to FNB SUNWARD PARK on the 19th of October and after many tears they finally opened my account, today the 21st Of October i just had to take in my lease agreement I have with my Finance and they then tell me they now closed my account because the wording on my visa isnt right, is this legal, how can this come from a Top bank in South Africa my finance dad has a business account with FNB and so does my fiance
