Payment Break denied

I asked for a payment break for a month where by mfc would extend my terms by a month. Apparently they only give this break period if you are retrenched or you're wife is on maternity leaf. Well, unfortunately my wife decided to leave me, and already moved out of the house, and I am left with all the bills. Doesn't this cover both subjects. This was out of my hands, and only her decision. If I could skip this month, then I would be closer to my end year bonus, following shortly would be year increase, and in that specific time frame some of my accounts and contracts paid off. But no, I guess mfc would rather have my car repossessed. This break period would have kept me in the clear. I don't know what's gonna happen next.
