Not following instructions from MFC

During July 2013 I called MFC to take out a service plan as the dealer advised me to call them. The dealer in actual fact said they will phone me. Long story short. I took in the vehicle for its service today and dealer asked me to get policy number when I phoned in I was told there is no service plan. Their system shows that a request was send through to liquid capital and that they could not get hold of me. I was transferred to a manager and held on for more than 10 min. The vehicle has now gone in for service and I have to pay same out of my pocket when there should have been a service plan. The excuse from Liquid Capital they could get hold of me. I have a work number which is on MFC's system as well as on my voicemail I leave my husband's cell number as he is on standby 24/7 and always available on his cell.
