Do FNB Credit Cards really get you eBucks on Fuel?

I noticed on my last 2 credit card statements that I was not qualifying for eBucks on fuel purchased with my FNB credit card. When I enquired with eBucks, I was informed that it is due to the fact that I do not have a personal cheque account.

That is quite interesting since the FNB website does not make mention (from what I can see) of a cheque account being a mandatory requirement when looking at how to earn eBucks via my credit card. Unless I have misread the requirements under the credit card portion of eBucks earning this could possibly be a case a false advertising?

Looks like I'll need to use my Standard Bank credit card for fuel spending then especially since I stand to get substantially more points via uCount.

Please let me know as soon as possible so that I know which credit card to use for fuel purchases.
