How long does a preimum refund take?

I went to the bellville offices on the 27th for a refund request as the person that i opened a funeral policy for died the very same month which was feb 2013 and i totally forgot to cancel the premiums and only realised end of September and i submitted all teh required documents. I was then told that the refund should take 5 working days which i was fine with. Yesterday I phone the call centre for progress update and was told that i was told that the request was submitted on the 5th of October which is a week later after I submitted the documents and when i phoned the bellville branch the consultant told me she was told that it will now take 3days to calculate the amont to be refunded??? So how long does the refund take then will it be another 5 working days??? i have only been paying for less than a year and dont understand why this would take 3days to calculate and if i submitted the docs on the 27th why is the call center agent telling me that the request was looged the following friday?
