We visited Plumstead FNB on Saturday 5 Oct'13 to do a online transfer of money to a car dealership. A man approached us (he did not introduce himself-we think he was the floor manager) to enquire about our business there. We said to him we wanted to do a eft via online banking to a car dealership. He said we must wait for a consultant and add dealership as beneficiary. I told him I did speak to FNB Tygerberg and they assured me I can just do a online eft without adding the dealership as bebeficiary. That person from FNB Plumstead said we must add dealership and we had to wait for a consultant. When a consultant finally helped us, I told her aswell I just wanted to do a eft via online banking. She then said I must go to the atm. I told her I have online banking, and it was as if she did not want to understand me. She then added the dealership as a beneficiary and spelled my husbands name incorrect from his ID book she had infront of her as referance to payment. They then only showed me where the computer for online banking there was, and I went to do the eft via online banking. I went to the "floor manager" and told them I want dealership removed as beneficiary. He said I must do it another day...
