I purchased my car in January 2013 and had to replace the windscreen in order for it to go through roadworthy. I was told by Auto and General that we had to use Windscreen Direct. The first issue i had with them was no feedback. It took them 2 weeks to replace the windscreen, After 3 cancellations they were scheduled to come fit the window and the drivers thought appropriate to send me a please call me as they were lost. They eventually arrived with no apology and fitted the window. my son then went into my garden and stood on a piece of wire they had left there, i looked around and it was a complete mess. pieces of rubbish and wire left over the garden. I complained in writing to them and I had no response.

Now on Monday evening I was forced to use them again by the insurance company My car was broken into and by this morning they had still not ordered the window. On top of that my sons car seat was out the car last night because the window was still not replaced. I was then told by my insurance that i could pay for it out of my own pocket but they would only reimburse me what windscreen direct would pay for the window.

I am disgusted by my treatment from both partied
