Standard bank - waste of time!

I had a student account with standard bank, i had kept it for while even when i started working, i eventually went into the bank to get a saving account, when i went in, the consultant was pretty fast, except she failed to ask me or offer any information on the different accounts that they had, it was my first time at the bank, so i sat quietly and hoped that she would assist me as best as she could, she gave me a Check account, being 22 at the time, i really didnt think i needed a check account, but she mentioned all the benefits and off i went, and that was the moment all the drama and inconvenience began, i went into the bank about 6 - 8 times after that because my card never worked, so i never NEVER experienced any benefits of the check account. eventually life happened and i didnt have time to go the bank so i have been paying a monthly fees for my check account as well as all other transactions that should be included in my check account, all because the staff dont know what they are doing, im really tired of all this nonsense now, paying all the extra fees for nothing looking to change my bank and hopefully my banking experience will change for the bette
