Hello,

I would like to draw your attention to the very poor and unhelpful service I was afforded today at the FNB Gateway Branch within the shopping mall.

At 3.32pm I was at the door of the bank and was told that the bank is closed.

This would have been accepted had the Bank manger came out of his office and confirmed the bank cannot be accessed.

Instead a bank employee just waved his hand indicating closure and just walked away.

Then the security guard letting out people was very reluctant to get the managers attention.

Ten minutes later he called for the manager and just hid around the corner of the time lock doors.

After an annoying further 5 minutes I was greeted through a glass door by Vikesh Naidoo out of the branch managers office.

My complaint is that I my wife came into the brank to make arrangements to purchase foreign currency.

She was told that 24 hours notice was required and that the cash would be available today for collection.

There was very little respect for me as the customer and the FNB banner "How can we help you" certainly never existed.

In situation like this one would expect some common business etiquette or courtousy.

Deeply saddened client.
