Lack of Professionalism from a Leading Bank

On Friday, 27-09-2013, I received a SMS saying that an amount of R9000.00 was transferred to Alberante Motors. I call Standard Bank to enquire about the transaction and they tell me it seemed someone cloned my garage card and paid for fuel on Thursday, 26-09-2013. Also, they tell me an attempt of R25 000.00 and R18 000.00 was made. The department cancelled my garage card and cheque card since they are linked and says it will take 7 - 10 business days and till then I am R9000.00 short, given a Reference No.: 6323223 and told to go into the branch to collect these cards the next day. They wasted 2 hours of my time because apparently I have to wait 7 - 10 days for my garage card and that my cheque card was not cancelled.

2 things:
1. The attempts of payment is unusual (based on finance history). If it were me attempting to pay for something, surely I would know how much I have in my account
2. The time I have wasted trying to sort out my account and the inconvenience caused just because the Depart. saw nothing unusual about the transactions

This has passed apologies. I am left with no money and no guarantee I will get my money back
