No Consent

I recently bought a vehicle which I received a quote for insurance from Debbie. upon agreement the insurance premium was R1000 & some change. Subsequently a few days later, I received an email from Debbie saying that she required insurance confirmation for a specific period during the 2012 period, otherwise my premium will be R1586 and noted that at the time my vehicle was not insured.

I sent Debbie an email stating that I was not happy with the premium and should cancel the insurance with immediate effect. I then insured my vehicle with another insurance immediately.

Debbie called in the new year clarifying her emails and noted that the R1000 premium was still attainable upon my submission of my proof of insurance, since then I've had no further communication.

on the 26th Jan, my account was debited with R1287.55 with an AlexForbes reference.

This policy was activated without my consent!!!
