Refund/Cancellation

HI, My name is Fosi Mokoele id number 8001160790085. I have a policy with Essential med which i wish to cancel with immediate effect. I applied for the policy at the end of June and was supposed to receive the welcome pack two weeks after the first debit order. Did not receive any of the welcome pack, i was still debited. When i called to cancel was told i will not be refunded because i did not call to follow up.

I feel that i was treated unfairly, no apology whatsoever. They just said "we will cancel the policy but no refund due". i was to be refunded.
