Excessive transaction fee

Extremely disappointed with FNB - deposited a large sum of money at a branch for FOREX payment for international tuition fees. Checking my account a few days later, noticed to my horror that FNB has deducted R1755.80 for this transaction. I was neither aware, nor informed about the high transaction fee and I have not authorized FNB to deduct money without my knowledge.
Raised a complaint with FNB, requesting the transaction fee to be reversed. FNB refused as "the panel dealing with interest charges and related matters" has refused point blankly - "banking charges are sent to all customers".
I am fully aware of banking charges, but FNB is uncompromising to have this matter resolved. Maybe FNB should change their slogan "How can we help you" to "How can we help you to get rid of your money..."
