FNB denies credit card to premier client

I am unable to obtain a credit card from FNB even though I have a platinum account. ABSA offered me a credit card within a 10 minute phone call on my first attempt. Many of my colleagues who receives the same income did not have any problems obtaining a credit card from FNB. I really don't understand how this is possible.
