Unwilling to reduce premium

After being with A&G for 2 years without a single claim I got informed that my premiums in the new year will go up significantly (>10%) regardless of not claiming. I was told that they assessed my risk and that because of living in Johannesburg I do not qualify for any kind of loyalty premium reduction.

Subsequently I got alternative quotes, one excellent private insurance company offered me R400 less on my monthly premium! I contacted A&G expecting them to at least match the new quote in order to keep my business. To my horror they only offered me a R40 discount on my premium!

So now I am saying good riddance and changing insurance companies.
