We have a home loan with Nedbank. Without any correspondence, our home was placed in possession. This was a finger error by a Lui in their legal department. I sent an email to his team leader (Nhlanhla Ndinisa) in August and have to date not received a response. What worse is that our bond has never been in an arrears status. Now both my husband and I have defaults on our ITC's, which has resulted in banks declining a home loan application. I email their complaints department today as well as Nhlanhla. I have received a read receipt from Nhlanhla but once again no response. Now we have to bear the brunt of someone inaccuracy, and we are being penalised for a mistake that Nedbank should take responsibility for.
