I never received my NZ$20k to this day

I was sent $20k in May 2012 from NZ by one of my acquintances but never reflected on my account I approached ABSA about the matter and they gave me some lame number I had to call which didnt help me, I then told my acuintance what had happened and she insisted that she sent it and has a bank statement to prove that she did send it in my ABSA bank account.

A few days ago I was told by smeone I had sold my textbook to that my account is not active as she attempted to make a deposit but ABSA never saw it appropriate to notify me that my account is closed.

What is frustrating about this is that I never received the $20K to this day and I was suppose to use the money for my studies and its been a steep hill since then to get funding for my studies and had to go to some of my family members
