Does Standard bank want my student loan business?

I recently applied for a student loan for my son, Kyle who is studying at CTI this year. I applied at both Standard and ABSA in order to decide who will offer the better service and to whom I should give my business. After Standard replied to my son only, I went to the Tyger Manor branch to sign the papers as Standard ended up winning my vote (by default). According to the mail all the paperwork was ready to be signed. At the branch the customer service lady asked me what she could do. I told her I was there to sign the student loan forms. She took my name and told me to wait with the other customers. I was 17th in the queue and was told it would take an hour. The waiting area resembled a government clinic waiting room after a zombie apocalypse, and I suggested that I make an appointment for the following week to sign the papers, as I had better things to do with my hour. I was told they don't do appointments and I should come back next week and should get serviced. I went next door to ABSA and received service. I could have been your customer.
