I got legally divorced a year and a half ago and our settlement was 50% of my ex-husbands pension fund. Due to the fact that we worded it wrong in the settlement agreement, my lawyer and ex-husband have been trying to sort out the correct payment to be made, as I only got 25%. Alexander Forbes are not responding to my ex-husbands calls or emails that he has made in a desperate attempt to help me and our children. They referred him to someone else, and we still have not received a reply from his many attempts. All we need is a response so that we know what steps to take to have the rest of the money paid out. Due to the fact that I take full care of our 2 children, this money is what we use to survive. My car is now in a serious state, and it is urgent that i find money for a small new car, before we end up stranded on the side of the road. My lawyer also experienced many problems with Alexander Forbes not responding to calls or emails. For such a big company, this service is absolutely appalling. This is my last attempt at getting a response before it will cost me legal fees to take this further.
