No insurance policy yet I pay every month?

I have had my bond for almost 3 years now. My house was struck by lightning on Friday the 13th September 2013. Due to the lightning strike I have no hot water as my geyser was hit too, I have a wife and a 10mth old baby boy. These are the events that have followed since.

- Called Standard bank insurance call centre Monday the 16th at approx. 9am
- Was informed that I do not have an insurance policy, and that I should contact the home loans dept
- Spoke to the homeloans dept only to realise that while I have being paying R328.13 every month for insurance they do not have me listed and I do not have a policy number
- They will ask the processing dept to follow up on where my pmt's have been allocated this can take up to 3 business days???
- Took up the matter with a team leader at the home loans call centre (very helpful lady)
- Tuesday morning called her and was informed that there still is no feedback on the matter but she is doing what she can
- Tomorrow will be Wednseday and I have had no hot water since Saturday

Whilst it clearly does not seem to be a urgent matter I for Std bank I am left with cold showers and no service. This is disgusting and pathetic
