OURSURANCE BENDING OVER BACK "FARCE OF AD CAMPAIGN

17 Sept 2012 I took out comprehensive insurance with Outsurance. It was not the cheapest quote but I chose them because "I believed they were the industry best" I told the consultant I was a sales rep and used car for client visits & that I want policy that would really cover me when prob's occur. Contrary to my expectations- my experience to date since my claim done in May is unpleasant. First I was told I could not have a courtesy car because I did not request it "Why would I take comprehensive cover and request credit life and shortfall insurance extra but not ensure that if my car is out of action that I will still be mobile? " Despite this- I then accepted what they said but was then told that if I took out the courtesy vehicle add on they would activate it immediately and get my vehicle sorted. After the immediate premium was taken I was then told that my activation is post the claim date and that I would not be able to use my courtesy car benefit FOR THIS CLAIM. Its 5 months later -STILL my car is not repaired. No follow us from them -instead a stinking attitude from a claims consulatant as if Oursurance is doing me a favour insuring me. I pay just over R1000 a month- WHY?
