Morning of 17.09.2013 I went into internet banking and saw transaction made at Fruit and Veg Figtree on Sunday 15.09.2013 for R135.00 was debited by Nedbank as R8563.76. Called Walmer branch and Amanda told me to sort it out with Fruit and Veg. Went there, they called Nedbank, Amanda told me to come to the bank where she took the details and went to the back to make a call. Came back after 15 minutes with a printout received from Card Division saying they have had this problem! What are they doing about it if they have had this problem with other clients and still ongoing? It not only effects my credibility with the bank, it sent me into overdraft. They are probably charging me interest on the overdraft and R100 for return of the debit order thru yesterday. I made it clear to Amanda, that there was going to be to pay if the debit order is returned or them charging me interest! She explained that they will honour the debit order, but she is not sure if I will be able to draw cash. I run a business and always see that I don't exceed my limit. Is this a way of enriching themselves and how long is this gonna take to resolve? Disgraceful. Run a bussiness with this bank?
