In the last month I have received the worst service from ABSA Tableview and I have been a loyal client for 12 years.

The first incident I never reported, I went to the bank to get a statement as I needed it to give to SARS for new banking details. I received the statement and went home sent the statement to SARS only for them to tell me that the account is not active, when I looked at the statement I saw it was a closed Savings Account details that they had given me. I was charged R15 for account statement where the account is closed??? You would think the customer services would have checked and not just given any account.

On the 14th August my Gold Credit Card went missing and I reported it, I was told I would receive the card in 5-7 working days, 10 days later I phoned to be told to check with the branch the call centre cannot help me. Went in on 2 occassions to finally get an sms yesterday to say please come collect your card and bring your ID. I took my ID then got told I need to come back and bring a copy of my payslip and proof of residence. I have had the card for 10 years never missed a payment not applying for a new card!!! I feel I am being treated unfairly!!!
