FNB claims they can open a FNB account for you in under 10 minutes on their web page. I have been struggling with them for 7 weeks to open my bank account and to get my internet banking sorted out. I spent a total of 6 hours on the phone trying to sort this out and had to spend 3 hours of my life at their branch in Menlyn to try and sort this out. I still have not received ANY form of update or confirmation that my problems have been resolved. But FNB is extremely quick and efficient when it comes to deducting the monthly service fees.
