Miway accept premuims do not pay claim

Miway accepted my monthly premiums, never sent me a contract to scrutinize and when a claim was submitted they refused to pay. Please see attached letter:

Your telephonic conversation with the assessor, Gerhard du Toit on 30 August 2013 refers.
We confirm having advised of our decision to void the Policy from inception due to, inter alia,
the following reason (s):
Material Misrepresentation or Non Disclosure
During underwriting of the Policy at sales stage, you were requested to disclose all incidents
or accidents which you were involved in during the preceding three (3) years. You answered
that you were not involved in any incidents or accidents over that period. During the validation
of the claim it came to our attention that you were involved in a single vehicle accident in June
of 2012.
This information is relevant to both the evaluation and acceptance of the risk. Our rights have
been prejudiced by not being supplied with the correct information when the underwriting was
done.
We have no alternative but to void the Policy from inception date, being 16 April 2013. All
premiums received less any cost incurred by MiWay will be refund
