At the end of June, my brother and I went into Nedbank Lydenburg to get a student loan. In the last few months we have experienced the most incredible amount of incompetence and the most insufficient service I have ever had. My brother required the student loan to pay the last semester of the year, he is now 6weeks into the semester and nothing has been completed, he cannot even buy text books. I spoke with the branch manager Lynette and she was very helpful the first time, assisting that the surety documents get signed, but the second time I contacted her she was very short with me and ultimately sent me a toll free number to call to sort out my account. I feel that since the whole issue stems from Sunnyboy's incompetence, I would have liked better feedback and assistance from her as she is the branch manager. I have tried to contact Sunnyboy numerous times, but I get conflicting stories of that he is either on leave till the 11.09.2013, or according to Lynette, he is on sick leave indefinitely. I am disgusted that this is how we are being treated as a first time customer.
