Still waiting for reversal!

On 3 August, I made a purchase at Dischem The Glen. Immediately after I swiped (R268, 10), their machines went offline but the payment went through on my side but it did not on their side. They told me to contact my bank. After several calls to Absa, I was able to be helped by a gentleman who told me that the amount was on 'reserve' as it was taken from my account but Dischem had not received it. He told me that an enquiry would be sent and after 10 working days, the issue would be resolved and that I would expect the reversal then. It has been over a month and I still have not received my money! I'm very upset and disappointed by the poor service from Absa.
