I wife have a policy with 1Life Direct. She has been covered for more than 5 years now. Last year they consultant called her and convinced her to do some additions to her policy. Well she did and the premiums went up. The consultant told my wife that they are gonna send a nurse to do some tests before the changes can be added to the policy. That never happen but the increase her premiums in any way. Now a certain Kurt Terblanche sent her a letter of cancellation because she failed to send them results of the tests. My questions is whose responsibility is to do the tests. Why did you promise to send a nurse if you know you can't afford one. Why cancel the whole policy instead on taking off only the additions. I want 1Life to reinstate the policy, send a nurse to do the test. If they fail to do so we will report them to Ombudsman and the Financial Service Board. Is their own fault why the test was never done in the first place. I you do not want to proceed with the cover then pay back all the premiums already paid. This is, we cannot allow this to happen to loyal good paying clients.
