I have a new account with FNB (credit, cheque, and pocket savings account). Today was trying to pay my credit card via Standard Bank. Called the credit card division. Followed all the voice prompts and when I was meant to be transferred to a consultant. The whole cycle started all over again. Eventually a consulted picked up my call... R150, 00 later I got cut off as I ran out of airtime. Reloaded and started the process again. the same thing happened where the voice prompts kept take me back to the beginning. Eventually got to speak to a consultant. Explained my dilemma. I was then transferred only to be transferred back to voice prompts cycle again ran out of airtime. Even when the consultants were trying to assist me they could not get it right. Never have in my banking experience have I come across this. I moved to FNB because of the promise of easy banking. It's been nothing but easy. All in all I spent a total of R220, 00 and still did not get the help I was seeking. All I wanted to do was pay my credit card using Standard bank online banking page..
