Credit Card, Not able to get settlement lette

I fell into arrears with my credit card repayments, and got handed over to attorneys by Standard Bank for collection. I repaid in instalments until I was able to make a settlement offer. This offer was accepted and I paid the agreed lump sum and regarded this matter as closed.
However, during June 2013 I attempted to opened a cheque account. This was declined due to an outstanding amount on my credit card. I was most shocked to find that Standard Bank has been honouring a debit order on an account that they handed over, and that I had no more access to. I did not even receive statements. I opened an Access account, and when the first deposit went in, Standard Bank Card Division helped themselves to R706-00 on 29 June 2013. I immediately called them and heard that I owe R2037.82, minus the "involuntary payment" of R706 - 00, the balance therefore being R1331.82. I was also told that I won't pay any interest if I settle. I deposited R1331.82 on 20 August 2013 into my Card Account. Another Debit Order payment of R229.69 came off the account. I will pay this amount into my card account today.
I am now getting sent from Std Bank Legal to DMC and back. I need this matter settled!
