StdBank Home Loans - Moving Nowhere

Me and my wife applied for a Home Loan through all the major banks. We received prompt responses from all the banks involved EXCEPT Standard Bank.

Despite various calls and followups on a daily basis Standard Bank seems incapable of bringing the matter to completion. This has been with their "Sectional Title" unit for a week now, and there has been no updates WHATSOEVER.

Nedbank and FNB managed to do the valuation without any hiccups, but for some reason Standard Bank required us to send financial statements and letters of acceptance despite us telling them REPEATEDLY that the sectional title is not in a complex. It would appear they have still not realised this as their Sectional Title section is still scratching heads over the issue. One consultant even had the gall to tell my wife the usual turnaround time is 7 - 10 days, apparently not realising we were already on the 12th businessday since we lodged the application.

The offers provided by Nedbank and FNB expires tomorrow, which gives you an idea of exactly how fast this has been going nowhere.
