Zero response to numerous phone calls/faxes

My 82-year old mom defaulted on her payments to Standard Bank credit card. The case was handed to the legal department and we have been contacting them the last -20 months to try and arrange to pay the outstanding debt. She is completely ignored - she has sent faxes AND phoned them. They promise to send her forms to be completed but nothing happens. She got the name of a staff member and speaks to him but ZERO response. I have sent numerous e-mails - also to the Complaint Resolution Centre e-mail address which I found on hellopeter. No response. It must be understood that she is 82 years old and struggles to be able to afford all these phone calls and faxes. I don't live in SA and cannot phone and fax. I think Standard Bank stalls the process on purpose in the hope that they can squeeze more interest from her. And this after she and my late dad were clients of Standard Bank for many years. There is also no compassion from Standard Bank's side taking into consideration that she struggles financially - they just want her last cent.
