False Advertising & Promises

We have moved to Nedbank in January to the "Private Bank" department. We informed them when we opened all our accounts that we want to buy a house later the year.
We have a applied with our private banker and met all their criteria for buying a house. Now we have been told that we should rather use another bank to get a home loan, because it will be easier.
Now what about all the promises made on their advertisements and big TV adverts "advertising" that they would be able to help you make your dreams come true???
I am not loving my bank right now!!
What is the purpose of us moving banks and getting a personal consultant we aren't able to make use of their services.
