HTC Fye

Hi, I have an HTC Flyer with FNB, it is insured by FNB when I phone them few months back they said they will need R1000 to fix it, they also told me to phone HTC repair centre. I phone repair centre they said I must bring it but my problem is that R1000 I have to pay. please help me my tablet is not charging, when I phoned HTC and explain the issue to the they suspect that the charging port is faulty. Could you please help.
