First National Bank
Refund (R39.60 for interim statement)

Business & Finance

I was out of the country and returned on the 28th June 2013. Upon arrival i went into the FNB branch at O R Tambo International to request for my FNB credit card statement for the past 30 days. The guy assisting me (Patrick?) made a mistake and printed 3 months bank statement on my cheque account. i made him aware and he printed my credit card statement and he told me he was going to reverse the transaction on my cheque account. To my surprise when i opened my internet banking the next day i found an interim statement charge of R39.60 in my cheque account. I went to gezina branch to reverse the charge, which i was told was done. More than a month later i realised that the charge has still not been reversed. I would like FNB to sort out this problem. I went through FNB's pricing guide and there is nowhere it indicates a statement charge of R39.60? So maybe an explanation into this exorbitant pricing would also help so that in future i know not to go into FNB branches to request for my statement.
