Very heavy handed attitude!

I received a letter from Absa "credit control" to say that I will not be issued a new card, as my account is over it's limit. I know they are entitled to do so, but this occured through someone"s incompetence at Absa; this is no fault of mine. In April of this year I queried two transactions, as the merchants name on my statement was not regonized by me, which were investigated, and these two amounts were paid back. The merchant had 30 days to respond, and did not do so. Then on the 22nd of July, about 140 days later, these exact same amounts and merchant name were taken off my account, taking my card over the limit! My card is electronic, and I cannot go over the limit! Despite sending emails to the address on the letter, I have had no reply. My account is always paid on time, and frequently in full, but I am still told my account is in arrears! This is no way to trerat customers!
