Threats by Staff

So I receive a call this morning from a lady at ARA requesting that I give her a number for a person she is looking for. I merely asked her which company she was calling from and what type of company it was as I cannot give out employee details without their consent.
She kept saying to me it was confidential information and I kept telling her I did not want to know what it was about, but merely what kind of company she was calling from or who this ARA was. She then threatens me and says that she KNOWS I have this employee's contact details and that it would be through me that she does not get hold of this employee. Why would you have my number as a reference and not that of the person you are looking for? You need ME to help you yet you have the worst telephone manner and way of speaking to people.
Little bit of advice, DO NOT threaten me and DO NOT speak in a demeaning way to me. I have no association with you and you cannot expect someone else to do your job for you. Disgusted at this. If you need someone's help, ensure you provide them with a decent enough reason as to why they should help you. An apology for pathetic and rude behaviour will be appreciated.
