Threatening me over the phone!!!

I got a lovely call this morning from a person at this company. I owe Std Bank an amount, of which i intend on paying, however due to recent financial difficulties, have not been able to commit to.
This rude, arrogant woman calls me at work today, does not even ask me if it convenient to talk, which it wasn't, as it is a personal matter and would not like to discuss such matters at work.
When i tell her it is not a good time to talk, she starts yelling at me, that she will take payment from my salary if i do not pay. I think this is outrageous, I will not accept some uneducated call centre agent with cotton between her ears to talk to me like that. There is a polite way to ask people to pay, and there is also a need to understand that in the current economic climate, we all are facing financial difficulties.
Is this how NDS works? Is this the image they create? Very sad to know this is the kind of people Std Bank would use to reflect their hard earned reputation.
