Read the fine print

I applied for a loan at loan detectors and failed to read the fine print to my detriment. You would think that an annual fee would be written clearly on the application forms - something important to consider when applying? Anyhow - i phoned in and spoke with a lady by the name Lea! I requested info to cancel my application. She was so rude and abrupt & even raised her voice at me. I asked to speak to someone in management and was told there was no one available & that she has NO idea when there will be. I asked for an alternate contact number or consultant to speak with & she told me there isnt anyone! Initially she told me that because i did not cancel my application within 7 days of applying i would be paying the fee regardless annually. I have never dealt with such a company were there is no one in management to assist where necessary and a consultant like that! I strongly advise that in future - read that fine print they so conveniently make so almost unreadable - get a magnifying glass if necessary! Beware of these loan companies as there seems to be quite a few that have compulsory ongoing fees that you are not made aware of upfront. If i could i would close Loan detectors down
